Christine Halvorson founded Halvorson New Media, LLC (http://www.HalvorsonNewMedia.com) in Hancock, NH in 2007, where she provides businesses and nonprofits with training and strategic consultation in using social media such as blogging, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and podcasting. She began her social media career before anybody had a name for it. In 2004, she was named the Chief Blogger for Stonyfield Farm, the yogurt company in Londonderry, where she pioneered the use of corporate blogging by writing and managing five company blogs. She continues to manage one blog for Stonyfield Farm, but has gained numerous other business clients. Since February of 2009, she has taught social media and spoken to more than 30 different business groups including the NH-MicroCredit Entrepreneurial Exchange; the Newburyport, MA and Concord, NH Chambers of Commerce, and the Yankee Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

Event Description: This important roundtable discussion is one of 11 throughout the state being hosted by regional Chambers of Commerce and the BIA. It is designed to give the business community a voice in establishing a proactive legislative and regulatory agenda for the 2011 legislative session at the New Hampshire State House.

Business leaders will be asked to identify challenges affecting their operations. Next, they will be asked to rank these challenges from most pressing to least pressing. Finally, business leaders will be able to recommend action steps. Your attendance and participation is greatly appreciated!

The Greater Nashua Area Region Business Roundtable is open to the general public, members of Chambers of Commerce, and the BIA. There is no charge or fee to participate, but we do ask that you RSVP so we can plan appropriately.
