The following is an email from the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. They have graciously offered to extend this opportunity to Souhegan Valley members. The bus will leave from Nashua and stop at Macy’s in Bedford for Manchester Chamber members, as well. PLEASE – email Nashua directly to reserve a seat. I think they will be in short supply with the impact of the proposed legislation for an added tax. Let me know if you are going. Also, once you have made your reservation, you may pick up the bus at Macy’s if that works better for you at 4:00 PM.

All LLC’s invited to board bus for LLC Tax Hearing!

Many of you are owners or partners in Limited Liability Corporations (LLC’s), and are aware of the State’s intentions to start taxing you 5% on your Interest & Dividends each year. The State Department of Revenue is close to finalizing the rules regarding how this new tax will be implemented, and is holding three public hearings on those rules.

Regrettably, and against our wishes, the State is refusing to hold any of these hearings in the southern tier of New Hampshire where most of the LLC’s are located. Instead, they are holding the hearings in Plymouth, Berlin and Conway.

We know how important this issue is, and the tremendous significance it has for many of our members. Therefore, we are providing a chartered bus to anyone who wishes to travel with us to Plymouth on January 7 for the public hearing on this new tax. Information for the bus trip is as follows:
Date: Thursday, January 7
Place: Meet the bus at The Crowne Plaza Hotel
Time: Bus departs for Plymouth at 3:45pm sharp

approximately 10:00 PM
