Four Chambers – Two Organizations – One Great Opportunity
The Merrimack, Greater Peterborough, Greater Hudson, and Souhegan Valley Chambers of Commerce, Businesses Supporting Businesses, and the NH Department of Employment Security have joined forces to make this valuable workshop opportunity available to everyone interested in growing their business or looking to connect to the “dream job” they have been seeking! Whether you want to network to enhance your business’ market penetration, or you are interested in ways to secure new employment, this will be a great event with break out sessions and well respected speakers.
Kiva Leatherman, Founder and President of Wise Workshops, which develops curriculum for women to learn about their health, wealth and time will emcee and introduce the program. In her presentation, she encourages her audience to know themselves, to know about their money, and to stop living vicariously through others – to achieve success and happiness on their terms.
Attendees will choose one of the workshops offered, Natural Networking – 21 Tips Toward Great Connections by Debby Hoffman Adair or Making Networking Work! with Tim McMahon.
President Elect of the New England Chapter of National Speakers Association, Debby Hoffman Adair is known as “a different perspective” when it comes to sharing ideas to create a positive impact. Refreshingly insightful, Debby’s workshop is filled with information, motivation, and inspiration and, of course, fun that will give you the networking tools to build your business. A professional speaker and author for over 18 years, Debby is a solutionist, helping individuals, businesses and organizations transforming problems into opportunities. Her motto is Positive Action produces Positive Results!
Tim McMahon, bestselling author of “JOB – The Job Seekers Guide to the 21st Century” will present his workshop on the powerful new networking techniques to find the best jobs and get the attention of employers. “80% of today’s best jobs are never posted. The challenge is to find someone who knows about the job you want and can get your resume in front of the hiring manager.” As a bonus, attendees will receive a complementary ebook copy of his book!
Cost to attend is just $25, hors d’oeuvres will be served, and a cash bar will be available. Reservations are strongly suggested and may be made online at deb@merrimackchamber.org or by calling Souhegan Valley Chamber at 673-4360. SERESC is located at 29 Commerce Drive in Bedford.
