The first meeting of the Veterans FIRST Auction Committee is this Wednesday, Sept 14 at 8:00 AM in the Chamber office.  It is a wonderful way to say thank you to the men and women serving our country and support them in this important cause.  We are looking for a few more volunteers to round out our committee.  Please consider joining us to see if you can help.

Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce has the honor of hosting the Governor & Executive Council meeting October 12.  It is our opportunity to “toot our horn” about the great people and events of the communities.  It is also a time to meet one on one with the Governor, Councilors and Commissioners who are leading our state government.  You are invited to take advantage of this rare opportunity by:

• Telling us who (Commissioner) you want to meet and get your questions answered
• Recommending a person, business or organization for a commendation from the Governor himself.

After this public time, the Governor and Councilors will go into their regular meeting schedule and the public may stay to observe them at work.
